I was in Latvia in 2019, and it was cheap as chips. Now it’s not. It’s expensive and ridiculously so.

What’s the point of public transport when the sign at the Stop reads M-F leave at 1150 and yet the tram rocketed through at 1144.

There’s no point to public transport if it leaves a stop 6 minutes earlier than advertised. A German couple I spoke with told me they’d been here 3 days, and the trams were a shit show, spending more time waiting than travelling.

2 nights. Huge room. Shared bathroom but all good. Very comfortable here. Met 2 lovely people also staying from Azerbaijan. This is my first ever meeting with anyone from this mysterious country. Very cool. Great people.
