Temperature between 22 and 28 degrees. Sunny. Insanely good weather for this time of year.
Met a lovely couple from the “Wine Quarter” of Austria in their motorhome. Had a lovely chat, and they invited me to share their lunch of freshly picked forest mushrooms, bacon, and baby potatoes in a delicious sauce. Look at the location… right on the beach in perfect weather. We laughed a lot. Good times!
Then, down the road, I met a lovely German couple, early retired, living the dream cycling all over Europe. Also, a great chat, swapped details. I think we may rendezvous somewhere in France or Spain next month

Latvian drivers are fucking insane with far too many of them needing calming medication. Impatient. Rude. No driving skills. Scary.
The traffic getting through Riga was diabolical. Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to travel 25 kilometres. No ring roads. Road surfaces very rough. Old trams suddenly come out of nowhere!
I thought Vietnam was the Wild West. Latvia is up there for driving madness.
