Goodbye, lovely Italian family who hosted me and goodbye Lena and Goran, who I last visited in Marsta in 2015! See you all again, maybe next year! Now in a hotel in Stockholm, ready for an 11 hour ferry ride tomorrow to Turku in Finland.

A pretty harbour and one of the oldest stone buildings cum churches in Sweden, very close to 1,000 years old. It’s been a ruin for longer than it was a church. 3.5 to 4 metres tall, there are 30 of these in the Håbo Community, Sweden. “Ingvar the Far-Travelled” led expeditions between 1036 and 1041. These stones, the “Ingvar Runestones”, tell his stories. Very cool…
