Horrendous weather for my drive to Lagos, Portugal

Friday night. Guesthouse in Portugal. Aussie (me) a French and a German couple being bound by music. What a great, rainy night. I brought my JBL Bluetooth speaker and we swapped Bluetooth connections and music selections… Awesome.

90 minutes in a Cafe
A very nice cafe. Met people from Ireland, Germany, and expats living in Tavirna from the UK. The rain had stopped, and then it pelted down. I got soaked walking to my car. Now, back in the guest house in the hills for a nice hot cup of tea!

My Tavira, Portugal Airbnb for a few nights is high above the town..
…in a lovely valley… However, a severe storm and flood warning has just been issued, starting at 4 a.m. in about ten hours from now on Friday 11 October. Might be stuck here for a while if the flooding below is horrendous.
