Vilnius, Lithuania to the Polish border

Friday the Thirteenth! 13Sep24 – this post is out of date order…

Good roads but covered in standing water.

Aquaplaned a few times. That’s a bit ass-puckering I can tell you. I’ve got very wide Pirelli P Zero tyres, more suited to fast, dry road driving.

The forests in the foggy rainy conditions still beautiful though. A highlight.

I covered 150 kilometres in 2 hours, not too bad considering the conditions.

Lithuanian drivers are bat-shit crazy. The overtaking manoeuvres in very poor conditions were insane to watch.

Had a couple of nice coffees and Lithuanian sausage roll. Very tasty.

2 nights at Bialystok, Poland.
