Barefoot on the grass in Sweden

One of the unexpected luxuries here is to walk barefoot on the grass.

Doing this in Australia is fraught with danger. Green ants, spiky plants, and sgarp, nasty bindii all try and spoil the party.

Here, the grass is soft, fragrant, mossy, and delicious on the soles of your feet.

For a place with such savage winters, the plants are glorious in the summer.
