Japanese students

I sat next to a group of Japanese high school students, waiting with their teacher, to board a Jetstar flight home to Tokyo.

Sadly, Western kids are not polite like this.

The Japanese kids were giggling, mucking around and very happy but also being NICE. Not loud, not ridiculous, just lovely.

We shared a few words, business cards were given and treasured as another souvenir of their Australian visit, and I shared some of their delicious Japanese snacks.

What a very pleasant encounter.

Safe travels, kids!
