In January 2020, I was in the wilds of northern Laos trying to stitch together a business deal that would see my buy the entire art and craft output of 2 villages for 25% more than they currently received. I was also going to donate extensively for child health, dental, education, laptops, etc. Pity the local Warlords wanted too much baksheesh, so I scuppered the deal.
The Hmong are gorgeous, and I love their nature and national costume. Stunning… I took this picture way outside Luang Prabang in early January 2020.
