2022, post covid and time to see some different parts of Europe, so bought this current shape CLS400d from Turo Mercedes-Benz. Again, this stunning anthracite black car with a white leather interior and full of optional equipment would have been over AUD$400 a day to rent. 16 countries later, I sold it to a happy pharmacist from North London. It worked out at AUD$41 per day. Storming across Germany at 250 km/h was a highlight. We had friends to meet 175 km from our Airbnb on the way to Belgium. We did the trip in 48 minutes!
